The so-called bayonet bulbs are named after their bases - B22. These are similar in shape to standard screw-in bulbs, but completely smooth, with two small pins protruding from the sides. This makes them easy to install - all you have to do is push the bulb gently into the socket and turn it until the pins lock it in place. Make sure that your lighting installation has the right sockets before buying bulbs.
Our LED bayonet bulbs come in two design styles - with milky white heads (standard for LED lights) or with a more vintage clear glass look. The second option is all the more interesting visually, thanks to the elongated, filament-like diodes - this makes them look similar to classic incandescent bulbs. With them, you can get the best features of both - the longevity and low energy consumption of LEDs, plus the decorative qualities of vintage bulbs.
When choosing light bulbs, you should pay attention to their colour temperature (CCT), as it can have vastly different effects on our bodies. For example, a light source with high CCT (5000+ Kelvins) emits bluish light that stimulates focus and alertness, helping us stay awake. On the other hand, low CCT (below 2500 K) creates an orange-yellow hue that makes us feel relaxed and prepares our bodies for sleep. With this in mind, you should pick low CCT bulbs for bedrooms, living rooms and other interiors dedicated to rest, while going for high CCT lighting in studies, offices, workshops, kitchens, and other work spaces.
