Festoon LED Bulbs

Festoon lights are similar to string lights - the main difference between them is the size of bulbs. While string lights tend to be small, festoon utilise normal-sized or slightly smaller bulbs. In this category, you can find both bulbs and cables needed to set up festoons. This type of lights can be strung both indoors and outdoors, but you should always check the IP rating to make sure your chosen products can be safely used outside (IP44 and up).

Festoons are a popular option for both illuminating and decorating gazebos, terraces, porches, or staircases. They can also be used as mood lighting in e.g. living rooms, bedrooms, and other rooms dedicated to rest and relaxation.

Our festoon LED bulbs come in various shapes, sizes, and styles, which makes it easy to pick the ones that best suit your needs and vision. For example, we have vintage-looking models with filament-like diodes that are ideal for loft, industrial, and retro decors or small, coloured globular bulbs that can liven up a party or simply provide ambience that will emphasise your mood.

You should remember that bulbs for festoon lights are not meant to be bright - most of them produce about 200 Lumens - so in most cases they shouldn’t be the main source of illumination in the room. There are, of course, exceptions - the brightest festoon bulbs we offer produce 725 lm.

All the festoon LEDs gathered here use the most common types of bases - E27 or E14 - so they can be used with various festoon cables.
